Logan County in Process to Create Business Incubator for 2009

The Lincoln and Logan County Partnership are in the process of planning to develop a business incubator geared at attracting hi-tech start-ups along with manufacturing start-ups and other service related businesses.

The Logan County Business Incubator will allow approved companies to be housed in the incubator for up to three years at a reduced rent.  Each business will be required to go through an application process which will include:

1. Meeting with a SCORE advisor to put    together a business plan

2. Submit a budget

3. The business plan must demonstrate how the applicant will create jobs in the wage target of $12-$15 per hour

We are targeting the second quarter of 2009 for the launching of the incubator program.  For more information call (217) 732- 8739
