Robert's SYSCO acquires Bunn Capitol 
The first deliveries were shipped from the new approximately 200,000 sq. ft. warehouse & distribution center on July 2, less than 12 months from the start of construction. Already Robert's SYSCO is preparing to expand its operation by acquiring Bunn Capitol. SYSCO projected an initial employment of 200 and could expand to 250 with the Bunn acquisition. Robert's SYSCO and Lincoln, a brief timeline...
Lincoln economic development officials were given a deadline of July 1, 2005 to deliver a suitable site to Sysco for immediate construction. Plans called for an opening date of July 1, 2006. Local officials met every critical deadline in attracting this new employer to Lincoln and helped it open on schedule.
